Dana Thermal Products plans manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Dana Thermal Products, a subsidiary of Dana Incorporated, a global leader in thermal management technologies for the mobility industry, will establish a new battery cooling plate manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The $54.2 million project is expected to create 200 jobs by 2025.

The company plans to lease space in a 350,000 square foot building where it will manufacture battery cooling plates designed to extract heat from lithium-ion battery cells, according to state officials. Production is expected to start in early 2023.
