New copyrights discovered for Nintendo Studios and M Brothers Productions

Nintendo has filed two interesting copyrights ahead of the Mario movie’s debut next year: Nintendo Studios and M Brothers Productions.

Both of these names were spotted in the US Trademark Database under the film’s page. The idea is that Nintendo will list its movies under Nintendo Studios and M Brothers Productions in the future, as both should be aimed specifically at producing visual content.

In September 2020, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa said he had “already embarked on several other visual expansion projects and is pursuing other opportunities.” He added that “visual content expansion initiatives may not be limited to film.” Furukara would go on to say, “The scale of our investments will vary depending on the type of project, but we will continue to invest in these entertainment expansion initiatives to increase the number of people with access to our IP.”

The animated movie Super Mario Bros. was originally slated for release in December. However, a few months ago it was postponed to April 2023. The cast includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey, Kong Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek Sebastian . , Maniscalco as Spike, and there will be surprise cameos from Charles Martinet.
