Taiwan Excellence showcases advanced automation solutions at Manufacturing Expo 2022
Helping Thai manufacturers ‘change the world’
Taiwan Excellence, a project to bring the best Taiwan-made products to the world, reappears once again at Manufacturing Expo. This time, to acquaint Thai buyers with more advantages of Taiwan’s automation industry, Taiwan Excellence showcases the latest smart manufacturing solutions from five of Taiwan’s most renowned automation companies.
After a two-year hiatus, Manufacturing Expo, Southeast Asia’s largest industrial exhibition, is finally back and better than ever. The expo’s “Taiwan Excellence Pavilion” focuses on cutting-edge industrial automation with five award-winning companies – SOLOMON, Techman Robot, TOYO, TBI MOTION and PLANET. The companies are lined up to showcase their latest products and solutions, including an AI/3D machine vision system, collaborative robots (cobots), precision transmission components such as linear slides and ball screws, and industrial network.

In order to share more innovative product techniques and features with expo visitors, Taiwan Excellence also held the product launch of “Changing the World with Taiwan’s Automation Solutions” on the first day of the expo. This gave attendees and spectators an opportunity to learn about Taiwan’s latest state-of-the-art automation technologies.
SOLOMON presented the applications of its automatic picking system which integrates machine visualization, AI learning and 3D scanning in a range of production lines and warehouses.
Techman Robot specified the characteristics of its cobots: intelligent, simple, safe. He shared cobot cases applied in metal processing, plastic and rubber production, and automated production lines.
TOYO shared the applications of its precision components in the medical field, circuit board inspection and scooter assembly. It also showed its self-developed automatic USB assembly line.

TBI MOTION presented the features and usage scenarios of its linear actuators and ball screws, highlighting its applications in industry, medical, transportation and precision machinery.
PLANET showcased various industrial network infrastructure solutions and explained how its products help traditional manufacturers and small business operators create industrial network environments.
Nick Ni, Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, was invited as a VIP to deliver the keynote speech.
“Among the products that Thailand imported from Taiwan, machinery and manufacturing-related products account for nearly 19 percent, ranking second,” he said. “It shows how Taiwanese equipment, machinery and systems enjoy high recognition among Thai industries.”
“Taiwan’s automation industry provides various high-quality intelligent manufacturing solutions at reasonable prices,” he continued. “The solutions meet different production requirements, which leads us to believe that Taiwan can be a great partner for Thai manufacturers, helping them realize their great potential much more.”
Thai entrepreneurs, manufacturing industrials and other interested people have a chance to visit Taiwan Excellence Pavilion @Manufacturing Expo 2022 from June 22 to 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at booth 1F29, BITEC, Bangna.
