Talented young artists from St Helens showcase their stunning creations
Final year creative arts students from the University Center St Helens have transformed the third floor of the SmithKline Beecham building into a multi-exhibition space.
The show features a range of printed graphics, illustrations, animations, fine art paintings, character designs and digital projections.
After two years of online exhibits, staff, students and family have come together for a private vernissage to celebrate the achievements of final year BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting, BA (Hons) Graphic Design, BA (Hons) Game Art, BA (Hons) Theater and Performance and FdSc Media Production diplomas.
University Center St Helens offers a range of creative arts degrees, validated and endorsed by the University of Chester and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

Ian Greenall, Creative and Performing Arts Manager, said: “The Vortex exhibition is the highlight of the year for our students and is the perfect opportunity for them to show off the talent and skills they have developed. and honed throughout their degree, as they prepare to move into careers in a wide range of creative industries.

“I am always amazed by the talent and passion our students bring to their final projects, and we look forward to welcoming members of the public to view the completed works of these up-and-coming artists.”
The exhibition is open to the public until Thursday June 23, 2022 (excluding weekends) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please go to St Helens College City Center Campus Reception for instructions.
